FAST DRYING WITH
ROLLER DRYERS FOR EXTRUDED CERAMIC MATERIALS, PRESSED IN PLASTIC AND CAST
ITALFORNI in its efforts for the research of
technological development of ceramic sector, introduces a new dryer for the
fast drying of ceramic products with high content of humidity. The dryer
ER/FAST is completely automatic thanks to special transmitting sensors of the
values of relative humidity and temperature, which send continuously the data
to the computer which elaborates the inputs received in order to intervene
following the necessity on the inlets of hot and room temperature air in order
to maintain the imposed curves temperature-relative humidity. The dryer
ER/FAST can be supplied with one or more floors of rollers. The drying cycles
and the temperature/relative humidity curves are variable in function of the
characteristics of the product to be dried. Various
exemplars of the dryer ER/FAST have been built for ceramic material with a
humidity up to 18% and with variable length from 20 up to 117 meters. This last
type has two floors and started its production recently in a company in the
USA, leader in the sector of product in earthenware pressed in plastic with
production of 3000 kg/h. The dryer
ER/FAST can be supplied with one or more floors of Roller dryers. The drying
cycles and the temperature/relative humidity curves are variable in function
of the characteristics of the product to be dried. Various
