ITALFORNI tunnel kiln are, par excellence, the thermic machines that better distinguish ITALFORNI quality. 

This type of kiln has its origin at the time of local ceramic tiles industry birth, when, Eng.Leone Padoa, the founder member of ITALFORNI, manufactured the first tunnel kiln for the firing of biscuit ceramic, in 1935. He also wrote the famous book that, since 1971, when it was published for the first time, has been the base guide for this type of kiln use and knowing, “LA COTTURA DEI PRODOTTI CERAMICI” (Faenza Editrice).
During this last years, thanks to the increased experience, ITALFORNI, with a modern system with prefabricated modules, pointed up new tunnel kiln, proposed with different widths of loading, for temperature up to 1600�C and combustion plants working in oxidant and reducing atmosphere, using all types of fuel.

A particular attention has been reserved to the automatic managing of the kiln functions,  by providing the machine with computers equipped with a modem for tele-assistance, to give technical support in relation to any type of need about the kiln; the software is always studied in relation with client and product exigencies.
