Road signs
In some parts of the world, traditional road signage systems are ineffective, as is the case with road marking near desert areas. This highlights the need to develop more effective and reliable alternatives.
Italforni realized in Saudi Arabia a complete plant for the production of ceramic road markers, that is road marker made in technical ceramic, famous for:
- High resistance to wear and atmospheric conditions
- Excellent reflectivity (thanks to refractive inserts or special glazes)
- Application on urban surfaces, roundabout, parking areas and industrial zones
Terracotta for Make-up
In the field of make-up, it is essential that the products do not come into contact with any contaminating materials. Since terracotta is a completely inert material, it does not release harmful chemical substances that could compromise the purity or safety of make-up products, ensuring maximum integrity.

License Plates for Automotive sector
The production process of car license plates involves a firing phase after the glaze application.
Italforni has built a 5-layer conveyor kiln for the Poligrafico della Zecca dello Stato Italiano.
Brake Abrasive
Brake pads sometimes contain special chemical additives that provide the necessary abrasive properties. They are solid small crystals that are generated from specific thermal treatments. Usually, these thermal processes realised with very long firing cycles in static kiln.
Italforni has developed a roller kiln for rapid firing, capable of producing this kind of abrasive ceramic powders.
Coloured Chalks
In the past, the production of coloured chalks was carried out through semi-automatic processes, characterized by low production efficiency, high labour-waste and limited standardisation of the final product.
To respond to these critical issues, Italforni has designed and built a fully automated plant, capable of managing the entire production cycle of coloured chalks on an industrial scale, ensuring high productivity, constant quality, waste reduction and optimisation of time and production costs.
